CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF THE RATIFICATION OF THE CONVENTION 169, ILO (20 JUNE 2012)

1.Avaliação of Agenda 21 on Indigenous Peoples - To find out what was run, which left to be done and why, returning to work with a will to enforce the Right of Indigenous Peoples.
2.Celebrar 10 years of ratification of Convention 169, ILO (June 20, 2012). It is an instrument of guarantee of fundamental rights of indigenous peoples and Maroons on their self-determination, which means the autonomy of these peoples (traditions, customs, beliefs and values of tangible and intangible), the prospect of being recognized as historical subjects of law, should be protected under both the CF and international treaties. However, the past 10 years proves that the Brazilian government has done little to meet the case determines that the Convention. Therefore, we are resuming the struggle demanding the government respect for our people.
3.Ratificação Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UN adopted in 2007) in Congress the same way as done for the adoption of ILO Convention 169. 4. Approval of the new Statute of Indigenous Peoples - resumption of discussions for approval of the new statute, there is another 15 years is shelved in Congress, contrary to the CF and non-recognition of indigenous citizenship in Brazil, as well as the protection of heritage people.
5.Garantia access to resources of indigenous peoples of the Amazon Fund - Report the Brazilian government to concentrate the use of international donation in the Amazon Fund and under the management of BNDES - National Bank for Social Development, which has made every effort to hinder the access of indigenous resources for projects ethnodevelopment. This done, and has profited much from the retention of these funds that were donated by the United sympathetic to the conservation of natural resources and quality of life in the forest. Meanwhile, the BNDES has financed the megaprojects that deforestation is accelerating and causing environmental and social damage in the Amazon and throughout Brazil.
 The Amazon Pact formed by neighboring countries to promote prior consultation with the communities that live in the traditional borders of member states, aiming to ensure the rights of peoples under international treaties, and also establish academic exchanges, cultural, scientific, at the Universities Research Institute and other institutions forming.
